Daily we are bombarded with need all around us-- and the desire to make a difference. A woman's heart wants to help... to care... to reach out. The problem is knowing what to do or where to start. That's why we've created the This Means Love Service Kit.
This easy-to-use kit brings together the pieces needed to plan and execute simple service projects with a small group of women that will have BIG impact in your community.
Inside the kit, you'll find guides for executing 12 different service projects designed to meet needs of people around you such as:
- Making tie-dye pillow cases for children in a homeless shelter,
- hosting an neighborhood ice-cream social,
- collecting clothing for women in transition,
- reaching out to the elderly with a variety of Fall gifts to lift their spirits,
- and other ways you can make a difference right in your own backyard.
The service project guides provide everything a leader needs: supply list, short devotion for each project, complete instructions for each service activity, and practical tips on how to implement each one. Plus, the kit includes a CD with reproducible items that will be used for various projects. Each project is designed for women to execute simply.
The kit also includes one copy of the This Means Love Bible Study that walks women through what it means to serve, how it affects our faith and what the Bible says about serving others. You'll need one copy of this Bible study for each woman involved in the service projects.
